Torben Storck, born December 12th 1983 in Bielefeld, Germany, is the owner of the music company "NEVER GIVE UP MUSIC GROUP" (NGU) and he owns part of a European promotional company "EUROPEAN MUSIC SOUNDS" (EMS). Torben understands the meaning of following your dreams, despite the obstacles and trials you face to get where you need to go. Torben grew up in a strong loving family oriented environment and his parents owning a business taught Torben early on how to be business savvy and having an older sister who has the down-syndrome disease taught him to fight and to never give up.

Torben was raised in a very musical upbringing. His sister Svenja (31), plays the piano, his cousin, Jan (23), is studying music at a university in Bremen and Philip (15), his youngest cousin, studying with very gifted musicians all over the world at a music and drama college in Hannover. http://www.hmtm-hannover.de

Torben himself took piano lessons when he was only 6 years old until he turned 12. From the ages 12-14 Torben took keyboard lessons and was mentored by a well-known stagecoach Klaus Scharffenorth who has worked with Bianca Schomburg, a famous singer in the 90's and the winner of the European sound mix show from Linda De Mol.

Music played an important part in Torben's life coming from a musical family. Just being a little boy Torben enjoyed music from artists like Little Richard, Fats Domino, Elvis Presley and Louis Armstrong. When Torben was 10 years old he was exposed to rap music to artists like Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, Ice-T, Westside Connection, Luniz, Coolio, Warren G, EPMD, Onyx, Jay-Z, Foxy Brown, Naughty by Nature and many more. He remembers the first time when he listened to the "Bravo Hits 6" CD and heard "What's My Name" by Snoop Dogg, it changed his world and his love for rap music proliferated.

Torben was not an A student but rather struggled during his High School years as a juvenile but he still managed to make it thru High School. In 2002 he attended the Friedrich-List-Berufskolleg, a college located in Herford where he studied business management and completed his academics in 2004. Torben went further on to study at a university to gain more knowledge in business. Early on Torben gained his work experience working in the business sector for Audi, VW and Fa. Storck-Haftetiketten, parallel to his BWL-study at the FHM-Bielefeld where he developed many business skill’s which fueled his entrepreneurial drive.

Torben dropped out of the university to start up a promotional company "NEVER GIVE UP - Promotion" where he started to promote international acts such the US - R&B group Ahmir (no. 6 in US-Billboard Charts). Torben’s commitment to "NEVER GIVE UP - Promotion" grew intensely witnessing the success and accomplishments thereof.

In March 2007 Torben founded an independent label "NEVER GIVE UP RECORDS" (NGU-Records), partnering up with a talented beat-producer from his town Marc Metzger (YL). They both devoted themselves working thru many sleepless nights and landed some production and promotional work, producing and promoting the song "Feenin" which was played on heavy rotation at the BIG FM radio station in Germany in Main/Rhein area.

In 2008 Torben decided it was time to expand and pursue further studies in the field of music business studying music merchant and music business management at the Ebam Academy in Cologne. There he studied subject matters like, music business, A&R, product management, artist management, music publishing, marketing, branding, legal framework, etc… He completed all his studies and received his diploma in music business management.
